Leadership
Not only do I lead marketing, creative, and content teams in my day-to-day role, I also bring that same leadership into the broader creative and non-profit community.
I have contributed to non-profit initiatives focused on professional development, helping organizations engage their audiences, build sustainable programs, and strategic storytelling. Across this work, I focus on creating environments where people feel supported, aligned, and motivated.
This approach is reflected in my long-standing leadership with AAF Spokane, where I spent 15 years in volunteer and board roles, including serving as President. During that time, I organized fundraising events, built teams, shaped programming, and supported initiatives such as the ADDY Awards and Collective Campout—strengthening the local creative industry through connection, recognition, and professional development.
AAF Spokane
I was actively involved with AAF Spokane for over 15 years, serving on the board from 2005 to 2021. During that time, I held multiple leadership roles, including President, American Advertising Awards Chair, and Collective Campout Chair.
This long-term involvement allowed me to contribute to the growth and direction of the organization while building strong relationships within Spokane’s creative community.
I was honored by AAF Spokane as the Advertising Professional of the Year in 2014. ↗
Collective Campout
The AAF Spokane Collective Campout was a summer retreat for creative professionals, designed to bring people together to connect, learn, and build community. Held at a 100 year old kids camp in the middle of a lake, the experience blended workshops, peer-led sessions, and traditional camp activities in a rustic, immersive environment.
For five years, I developed and played a lead role in shaping the event—planning and organizing the experience, creating the itinerary, and serving as MC—ensuring each year felt intentional, engaging, and reflective of the creative community it was built to support.

Mentorship
& Emerging Talent
A key part of this involvement was supporting emerging creatives. Events like Preflight provided opportunities to connect with students, review portfolios, and offer guidance — helping bridge the gap between education and industry.
This work reinforced the importance of investing in future talent and contributing to the long-term strength of the creative community.
Event Involvement
Through AAF Spokane, I supported a range of industry events, including the American Advertising Awards, Create, and the Preflight Student Portfolio Review. These events brought together professionals and emerging creatives, creating space for learning, feedback, and connection.
In addition to participating, I helped connect Global Credit Union to these events through sponsorship and support, ensuring they were well-resourced while aligning the brand with the local creative community. This allowed for a more active and meaningful presence within the industry.
