Hello thereβ¦
Over the past 19 years, I have led brand strategy, rebrands, and integrated campaigns in highly regulated environments, translating complexity into clarity and connection. My work sits at the intersection of creative leadership and project executionβaligning cross-functional teams, managing complex initiatives, and ensuring ideas move from vision to reality with intention.
Much of my work lives behind the scenes (or behind NDAs), so this site is less about a traditional portfolio and more about how I think, lead, and create impact.
You will find case studies that highlight the work you cannot always see, including aligning teams across time zones, shaping brand ecosystems rooted in community, and turning complex business objectives into cohesive, human-centered experiences.
Beyond my professional work, I have also applied these skills in the nonprofit space β supporting community organizations and fundraising efforts through strategy, storytelling, and hands-on execution.
If you are looking for someone who can connect strategy to execution and bring people along in the process, youβre in the right place.
I'm Mellie, nice to meet you.
I build brands that feel less like institutions and more like something people actually want to be part of.
What I bring to the tableβ¦
Strategy is where clarity meets direction. It is the work of turning complexity into focus and ensuring every decision has purpose behind it.
My approach centers on aligning business goals, brand positioning, and audience needs so that execution is intentional, not incidental.

Strong brands do not exist in isolation. They grow through community, partnership, and shared momentum.
A core part of my work is building connections between organizations, people, and culture in ways that create lasting value on all sides.
This approach extends into my nonprofit leadership, where I have supported community initiatives and fundraising efforts.

Creativity is not decoration. It is a way of solving problems, building connection, and finding unexpected paths forward.
I use creativity to translate strategy into experiences that feel human, memorable, and grounded in purpose, even when working within highly structured or regulated environments.

Leadership is not a title. It is the ability to create clarity, build trust, and move people toward shared outcomes.
Across my career, I have led marketing and creative teams through complexityβconnecting strategy to execution while maintaining collaboration and accountability.
