Global Credit Union supported a wide range of community initiatives through its pillars of giving, from donations to nonprofit support.
This work focuses specifically on community partnerships I built within the arts and cultural space — relationships built with local organizations, events, and leaders that reflected the brand’s values and strengthened its presence in Spokane’s creative community.
These were not just event sponsorships, but ongoing collaborations that allowed the brand to show up consistently, authentically, and in alignment with the people shaping the local arts scene.
Community Partners
Arts &
Cultural Partnerships
A strong focus was placed on partnerships within Spokane’s arts and cultural community, including organizations and events such as Terrain, Volume, Lucky You Lounge, Bazaar, and Unifest. These collaborations connected Global with the people and spaces actively shaping the local creative scene, reinforcing the brand’s alignment with culture, creativity, and community.
Rather than one-time sponsorships, these relationships were built over time, creating opportunities for consistent presence and deeper involvement — from event visibility to ongoing engagement with artists, organizers, and community leaders.
These partnerships often included on-site presence, branded materials, employee volunteer involvement, and promotional support, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to showing up in a more active and visible way. This approach allowed Global to show up in a way that felt authentic, recognizable, and connected to the community it served.
This work also extended into deeper involvement with organizations such as the American Advertising Federation ↗, supporting industry events and emerging creative talent.
